What is a Cottage Bakery?

A Cottage Bakery is a bakery operating under a states cottage law from the proprietors home. There is typically no storefront and items are thereby made to order. The state of Texas requires that all cottage food producers take state approved food training and obtain a food handlers certification. No food that requires constant refrigeration may be sold. What services do you provide?

We offer Custom designed single and multi tiered cakes, Sculpted cakes, cupcakes and dessert bar items such as cake pops, pie pops, delectovals, royal iced cookies, breads and our very own Majestic Griffin cakes. We offer edible toppers and adornments made of buttercream, royal icing, MMF, modeling chocolate, gumpaste, edible lace

or wafer paper.

Do you deliver?

YES! We primarily deliver from Dallas to Abilene and everywhere in-between but we'll deliver any where inside the state of Texas. There, of course, is a fee for this service depending upon distance and difficulty.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cashier's checks, all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, ApplePay and Samsung Pay. We do not accept personal checks.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A minimum deposit of 50% is due upon ordering. This deposit is non-refundable. It covers the cost of materials, ingredients, design time, etc... The balance is typically due 7 days prior to your pick-up date. Rush orders must be paid in full at time of order.

How will I know what my cake looks like?

Once you have placed your deposit, a rough sketch can be sent. We can also send photos of the progression of your custom build and a photo of your finished cake prior to your arrival.

Can I pay when I pick-up?

Yes, absolutely! You may opt pay a 60% deposit then pay the remainder of your balance in cash upon receipt of your order.
